Banks may not change lending, deposit rates after MPC meet, say bankers

Private and public sector banks have recently revised their lending and deposit rates due to the withdrawal of Rs 2,000 currency notes. This increase in liquidity has eased the pressure on interest rates and it is unlikely that banks will revise their rates based on the upcoming RBI MPC meeting's decision which is projected to maintain status quo.
