If the US dollar stabilises or weakens, then gold prices could start on a multi-year uptrend this year, according to DSP Asset Managers. Several analysts expect the dollar to weaken with the Fed ending their aggressive rate-hiking and with the possible weakening of global trade. The AMC's analysts too believe that central banks are likely to turn dovish as growth slows and inflation cracks lower.
