Sanction of Rs 13.56 crore levied by UAE Central Bank on Bank of Baroda

The Central Bank of the UAE levied a financial sanction of approximately Rs13.56cr on the Bank of Baroda's GCC Operations, Dubai. BoB was penalised for deficiencies in compliance of Federal Laws based on Anti-Money Laundering and Combating the Financing of Terrorism and Financing of Illegal Organizations. BoB is exploring all necessary options to file an appeal against the financial sanctions.
