Lemon Tree Hotels revealed its latest international signing~ a Lemon Tree Premier in Biratnagar in Nepal, which is expected to open in January 2023. The hotel will be operated through its subsidiary and management arm, Carnation Hotels Pvt. Ltd, and owned by Nepal International Hospitality Pvt Ltd. The premier property will feature 80 well-appointed rooms and suites.

The National Green Tribunal announced Vedanta's mining plant in Dharbandora area in Goa cannot operate without obtaining Environment Clearance (EC). The tribunal further added that the plant has recommenced in the year 2019; such recommencement is required to be after the grant of EC even if the plant was initially started prior to the year 2006.

JSW Energy signed a Business Transfer Agreement (BTA) with JSW Cement for the sale of an 18 MW thermal power plant at Salboni to the latter on a going concern basis. The transaction is for a consideration of Rs 95.67 crore. JSW Cement is a Promoter Group Company. JSW Energy said, "The plant was being set up for providing job work services to JSW Cement Limited."

Retail volumes of passenger vehicles bounced back into the black in February. PV sales reported a growth of nearly 11% after January proved to be a disappointment.
