Supreme Industries share price touched a 52-week high of Rs 2,174.30, rising 6% intraday on May 3 as it posted robust Q4 numbers. The company registered a consolidated net profit of Rs 450.4 crore against Rs 117.3 crore in Q4'FY20. Revenue was up 45.7% YoY at Rs 2,084.6 crore versus Rs 1,430.5 crore. Consolidated EBITDA rose 85% YoY to Rs 510 crore from Rs 275.6 crore.

Eicher Motors sold 53,298 units of Royal Enfield in April 2021. Of the total, exports stood at 4,509 units. The automaker sold Royal Enfields with engine capacity up to 350cc, to the tune of 46,561 units. While sales of models with engine capacity exceeding 350cc were at 6,737 units. Due to the nationwide lockdown in April 2020, there were only 91 units of Royal Enfield exports in that month.

Kotak Mahindra Bank reported flat 33.85% YoY growth in total consolidated revenues for the Mar-21 quarter at Rs16,176cr. For the Mar-21 quarter, the bank reported 45% YoY growth in treasury income. The operating profits were up just 16.3% at Rs4,578cr in the Mar-21 quarter. Profit after tax (PAT) for the Mar-21 quarter was up by 35.91% at Rs2,589cr. NII for the quarter was up 7.9% at Rs3,843cr.

Mahindra & Mahindra registered an overall auto sales (passenger vehicles+ commercial vehicles+ exports) for April 2021 at 36,437 vehicles. The units sold in April this year is not comparable with April 2020 due to COVID related lockdown last year. In the Utility Vehicles segment, Mahindra sold 18,186 vehicles in April 2021. The Passenger Vehicles segment sold 18,285 vehicles in April 2021.

Somany Ceramics Board invested Rs14 lakh in Somany Piastrelle towards the acquisition of equity shares by way of right issue. The company’s Board of Directors at their meeting held on March 17, 2021, have approved the investment up to an amount not exceeding Rs90cr in one or more tranches, in Somany Piastrelle, by way of a combination of subscription of equity shares and inter-corporate loan.

Google stops all auto-renewing subscriptions on Google Play Store, including free trials and introductory pricing plans to comply with an RBI notification that came out on March 31.  The central bank has mandated that no new subscribers should be onboarded for recurring subscriptions until an online platform is compliant with its new framework for such transactions.

Varun Beverages consolidated net profit increased by 127.7% to Rs 136.76 crore in Q1 2021 as against Rs 60.06 crore in Q1 2020. Net revenue from operations rose 33.7% year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 2,240.89 crore. The company witnessed robust consolidated organic volume growth of 24.7% in Q1CY2021 over Q1CY2019 leading to a 2yr CAGR of 11.7%.

RPG Life Sciences Limited, engaged in the manufacturing and marketing of pharmaceutical products, announced its Q4 and Full-year results. For full-year, revenue grew from Rs375.57cr to Rs389.14cr, and Profit Before Tax (PBT) grew from Rs36.45cr to Rs53.58cr over last year. TVS Motor registered sales of 2,38,983 units in April 2021 as against 9,640 units in April 2020. Domestic sales in April 2021 were lower due to lockdowns in many states but retails continue to be ahead of dispatch. The domestic two-wheeler sales stood at 1,31,386 units in April 2021, while scooter sales were 65,213 units in April 2021 and motorcycle sales were 1,33,227 units in April 2021.

The Company has sold 16,54,000 COVID-19 RT-PCR Tests in the month of April 2021 with an average price of Rs80/- per test, due to the sudden spike in COVID-19 cases. Also, Exports against Licenses received worth Rs32,00,000 was done in April 2021.

About 176 km away from Mumbai west coast, in India’s largest oil field, Mumbai High, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), 75-80 people are facing the onslaught of Covid-19. Out of the total 230 or around 35% of the workforce, have been infected by COVID-19 in Heera, one of ONGC’s largest producing platforms. Out of this, 28 are ONGC employees. The rest are contract workers.
