Waaree Energies IPO GMP indicates 85% listing gains

✅ Amid positive global cues, benchmark indices closed on a positive note today. 📢 At 3:30 PM, the Sensex improved by 218.14 points or 0.27% at 81,224.75, and the Nifty was up 104.20 points or 0.42% at 24,854.05. 📊 Among sectoral, Nifty Bank (⬆️1.57%) turned out to be the best performer while Nifty IT (⬇️1.47%) saw considerable selling.

Infosys' Q2FY25 results met estimates with 5.1% YoY revenue growth, driven by broad-based growth across key verticals and regions, with a flat EBIT margin of 21.1% and PAT margin decline of 4bps YoY. KR Choksey projects FY26E EPS of INR 72.8 and sets a target price of INR 2,110, retaining an "ACCUMULATE" rating.

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) on October 18 said it has entered into a pact with US-based Clean Core Thorium Energy (CCTE) for providing efficient solutions in clean energy globally. The partnership aims to accelerate nuclear power deployment globally, particularly in developing countries which require large amount of carbon-free electricity for their growth.
