US: Single family housing sees a rise in permits in January

In January, single-family homebuilding in the US decreased by 4.7%, likely due to harsh weather conditions. However, permits for future construction increased, hinting towards a rebound in the upcoming months. This is supported by a rise in confidence among builders and expectations of interest rate cuts.
