UP housing board allows amalgamation of adjacent plots if owner is same

Uttar Pradesh Housing and Development Board has announced a policy allowing property owners to amalgamate adjacent plots, charging 2% of reserved rates for residential and 5% for commercial properties. The board will also grant possession of properties to government employees and others after 50% payment, and provide compensation to farmers for land acquired in the past.
