SpiceJet raises additional Rs 316 crore, total funds reach Rs 1,060 cr

SpiceJet secures an extra Rs 316 crore, bringing the total raised funds to Rs 1,060 crore through a preferential share issue. The struggling airline had announced a workforce reduction of 10-15 per cent and had previously received Rs 744 crore in January. The additional investment shows investor confidence and will aid SpiceJet's expansion plans and improve operational capabilities.
