American chip-maker Nvidia has proposed a collaboration with India to co-develop AI chip, The ET has reported. The chip-making giant is looking to tap into India’s strong semiconductor design talent and fast-growing market. The proposal was initiated by Nvidia founder & CEO Jensen Huang in meeting with PM Modi in US earlier this year, the report said. Huang is expected to visit Indian this week.

Quarterly Net Profit at Rs. 0.36 crore in September 2024 down 6.55% from Rs. 0.38 crore in September 2023. EBITDA stands at Rs. 1.19 crore in September 2024 up 11.21% from Rs. 1.07 crore in September 2023.

Tyremaker Goodyear India reported a 58.5% fall in second-quarter profit on Tuesday, hurt by elevated rubber prices and dampened demand. The standalone net profit of U.S.-based Goodyear Tire's Indian unit fell to 157.4 million rupees ($1.8 million) for the three months ended Sept. 30, from a year-ago profit of 379.4 million rupees. Revenue from operations fell 1.1% to 6.82 billion rupees.
