RCPL on January 22 announced the acquisition of the packaged foods brand SIL Foods. The Mumbai-based brand has a diverse range of products which includes Chinese sauces, jams and canned foods. The Reliance Group firm said it aims to bring new life to SIL Foods brand and leverage its scale, technological capabilities, and deep understanding of the Indian consumer.

Recycling player Gravita India Ltd on Wednesday (January 22) reported a 29.4% surge in net profit at ₹78 crore in the December quarter. The company had posted a net profit of ₹60.3 crore in the same quarter last fiscal year. The revenue in the third quarter of the ongoing fiscal year was up 31.5% at ₹996.4 crore against ₹757.8 crore in the year-ago period.

State-owned Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) on Wednesday (January 22) announced that its board of directors has approved the submission of a plan to the Indonesian regulator for developing the Nunukan block's oil and gas reserves. The proposed plan, once approved and subject to meeting specified conditions, will involve an estimated investment of $121 million.
