Shares of Ceat Ltd plunged up to 6% in early trade on Friday, October 18, a day after the company reported a sharp drop in its September quarter's net profit. The stock later witnessed recovery and was up around 0.5% at 11.40 am. The flagship company of the RPG Group, on Thursday, reported a 41.5% year-on-year drop in consolidated PAT to ₹121.5 crore for three months ended September 2024.
