Rupee settles at all-time low of 78.32 versus the US dollar

On the back of a strong greenback and consistent foreign funds outflows offsetting the impact of gains from domestic equities, the Indian rupee closed at its all-time low at 78.32 versus the US dollar at the interbank forex market. At the exchange market, the rupee opened at 78.26 per dollar and the fading sustained till it settled at an all-time low of 78.32 per dollar from its previous close.
