✅ Amid positive global cues, benchmark indices closed on a positive note today. 📢 At 3:30 PM, the Sensex improved by 566.63 points or 0.75% at 76,404.99, and the Nifty was up 130.70 points or 0.57% at 23,155.35. 📊Among sectoral, Nifty IT (⬆️2.14%) turned out to be the best performer while Nifty Energy (⬇️1.47%) saw considerable selling.

The Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) has yet to begin work on the detailed project report (DPR) for the Trichy metro proposal, despite completing a detailed feasibility report (DFR) over a year ago. While the DFR, submitted in August 2023, confirmed the viability of a metro system in Trichy, the project has not been prioritised by the state government.

Motilal Oswal's research report on Cyient DLM: Cyient DLM’s (CYIENTDL) 3QFY25 consolidated revenue/EBITDA grew by ~38%/23% YoY. However, EBITDA missed our estimates as margins declined 90bp YoY due to a high mix of low-margin business (BEL order execution). Standalone revenue (excl. Altek – recently acquired) grew only ~11% YoY in 3QFY25. The order book continued its downward trend.
