Newgen Software Technologies Ltdhas bagged an order worth $2.57 million through its US-based material subsidiary, Newgen Software Inc. (NSI). The software company’s arm has signed an agreement with a US-based healthcare client for Enterprise Content Management. The international contract is for an initial period of three years and aggregates to $2,576,284, the company said in an exchange filing.

Open-ended equity mutual fund inflows stayed in the positive zone for the 46th month in a row, surged 14.5 percent over the last month to Rs 41,155.91 crore in December, as thematic/sectoral and small-cap funds saw higher investments, data released by the Association of Mutual Funds of India on January 9 showed.

Shares of Anand Rathi Wealth surged as much as 8 percent in early trade on January 9 after the company announced plans to consider a proposal for the issue of bonus shares. The company's board will mull over the proposal at its upcoming meet on January 13. At 10.19 am, shares of Anand Rathi were trading at Rs 3,932.95 on the NSE, sharply off its day's high of Rs 4,139.30.
