📌Indexes slipped Thursday as traders focused on remarks from Fed Chair Jerome Powell. 📌Powell said the Fed is in no hurry to cut rates, and reiterated the strength of the US economy. 📌Traders also digested wholesale inflation data, which was in line with expectations. 📌Powell added the US has had the best domestic growth of any major economy, and emphasized the strength of the labor market.

Indian stock exchanges BSE and NSE will remain closed for trading on Friday, November 15, on account of Guru Nanak Jayanti. Along with this, the exchanges will also remain shut on Wednesday, November 20, due to the Maharashtra Assembly General Elections. While BSE and NSE have declared a trading holiday on the election day, but commodity trading on MCX opening only for the evening session.
