✅ Amid positive global cues, benchmark indices closed on a positive note today. 📢 At 3:30 PM, the Sensex improved by 218.14 points or 0.27% at 81,224.75, and the Nifty was up 104.20 points or 0.42% at 24,854.05. 📊 Among sectoral, Nifty Bank (⬆️1.57%) turned out to be the best performer while Nifty IT (⬇️1.47%) saw considerable selling.

Infosys' Q2FY25 results met estimates with 5.1% YoY revenue growth, driven by broad-based growth across key verticals and regions, with a flat EBIT margin of 21.1% and PAT margin decline of 4bps YoY. KR Choksey projects FY26E EPS of INR 72.8 and sets a target price of INR 2,110, retaining an "ACCUMULATE" rating.

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) on October 18 said it has entered into a pact with US-based Clean Core Thorium Energy (CCTE) for providing efficient solutions in clean energy globally.
