Both companies plan to use the funds to scale their businesses and strengthen their capabilities.

JimJam manufacturer Britannia Industries is set to report its earnings results for the three months ended September on November 11, 2024. The biscuit maker will see higher volume growth compared to peers as a result of its price cuts. According to a Moneycontrol poll of seven brokerages, Britannia Industries is likely to report a seven percent revenue growth at Rs 4,748 crore.

China's NPC on November 8 approved the State Council's proposal to increase local government debt limit by $839 bn. The debt swap plan is spread over three years, said Xu Hongcai, the vice chairman of the Financial and Economic Affairs Committee of the National People’s Congress, and will help reduce China's interest payments by 600 bn yuan over five years, freeing up resources for development.
