Ajanta Pharma’s Rs 285 crore share buyback programme through the tender route, in which the company is offering to buyback 10.28 lakh shares at a premium of nearly 15% from the current market price, can yield a return of up to 6%, shows Axis Securities calculations.Ajanta has fixed May 30 as the record date for its buyback of 0.82% of the aggregate paid-up share capital of the company.
