📊 Amid positive global cues, benchmark indices started on a positive note today. 📢 At 9:16 AM, the Sensex gained 239.94 points or 0.32% at 76,078.30. Nifty is higher by 61.55 points or 0.27% at 23,086.20 📈 MCX India (⬆️1.27%), IOC (⬆️0.97%) and Jio Financial (⬆️0.58%) appeared as the top performers on the Nifty50 at the open. Wendt, IndiaMART, PNB Housing stocks are in focus today.

Oil prices were little changed in early trading on Wednesday as markets weighed U.S. President Donald Trump's declaration of a national energy emergency on his first day in office and its impact on supply. Brent crude futures eased 3 cents, to $79.26 per barrel, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude futures (WTI) for March delivery eased 9 cents to $75.74 at 0120 GMT.

RailTel Corporation of India share price will remain in focus on January 22 after the company received the work order from North Western Railway. Dy.Cste Construction Ajmer Division, North Western Railway has awarded the contract to the company for signalling amounting to Rs 46,79,16,427, which is to be executed by July 20, 2026.
