Shree Cement Ltd's Q4 FY24 consolidated net profit (attributable to the owners) increased about 28% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹674.9 Crore, above street estimates and aided by inventory gains, according to the company's quarterly results filed with the stock exchanges on May 14. The company generated a consolidated net profit of ₹525.8 Crore in the same period previous year.

FMCG firm Jyothy Labs reported a 32.5% jump in its consolidated net profit at ₹78 crore for the fourth quarter ending March 31, 2024, as against ₹59 crore in the year-ago period. The company's consolidated revenue from operations stood at ₹660 crore in the quarter under review, compared to ₹617 crore in the corresponding period last year.

Korean consumer electronics major LG will continue to introduce products in the home entertainment segment tailored for India to maintain its leadership position, according to senior company officials. LG Electronics India, which on Wednesday launched 55 AI-enabled television models, expects to grow 25-30 per cent this year in its home entertainment (HE) vertical.
