Brokerages bullish on Reliance Industries amid cheap valuations

The average deal size for commercial office spaces in India's top 8 markets increased by 10.24% to 41,867 sq ft in 2024, driven by growing demand for high-quality offices and occupier commitment to lease tenure and workspace investment. Hyderabad saw the highest average deal size at 70,535 sq ft, while Mumbai recorded the highest growth rate of 54.59%.

ITC Ltd. has allotted 125.11 crore equity shares to its shareholders as part of a demerger, separating ITC Hotels into an independent entity. ITC Hotels, now India's second-largest hotel chain, plans to list its shares after regulatory approvals. The demerger aims to unlock value, attract investors, and strengthen capital allocation strategy.

Investors are going to see five new initial public offerings opening for subscription next week starting from January 13. And this is despite the bears enjoying party at Dalal Street as the benchmark indices corrected more than 2% last week. The first IPO opening on the first day of next week, i.e. January 13, will be Laxmi Dental. In fact, this is the only public issue from the mainboard segment.
