Uttar Pradesh CM directs reduction in stamp duty for rent agreements

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has directed the reduction of stamp registration fees for rent agreements of residential, non-residential, and commercial properties, with plans to create different brackets to simplify the process. The Online Registration Rules 2024 will introduce an e-registration system, eliminating physical presence at registry offices and reducing registration time and cost.
