Urban unemployment rate hits 3-month low of 6.6% in February

Urban unemployment rate fell to 6.6 percent in February as rural unemployment remained unchanged at 4.2 percent, lowering the overall unemployment rate to 4.9 percent. Women saw the biggest improvement, with their unemployment rate dropping to 5.1 percent from 5.6 percent in January. Female workforce participation increased to 33.4 percent in February.
