TCS and Infosys have most exposure to US regional banks: JP Morgan

Bengaluru: Macrotech Developers Ltd, which operates under the ‘Lodha’ brand, has raised its 2024-25 pre-sales guidance by 20% to ₹17,500 crore, supported by strong demand and a robust launch pipeline, said a top company executive. In FY24, the Mumbai-based developer recorded ₹14,520 crore in pre-sales, its highest-ever in a year.

The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has given a relief to those taxpayers who have received tax demand notices because they had deducted less TDS from taxpayers whose PAN had become inoperative. Several deductors and collectors of TDS, TCS respectively, had received income tax demand notices asking them to deposit the short deduction in TDS/TCS.

Tesla’s first-quarter profit plunged as pressure mounts on Chief Executive Elon Musk to better articulate his vision for the electric-car maker’s future.
