Tax department's compliance nudge results

Over 30,000 taxpayers declared foreign assets worth Rs 29,208 crore and income of Rs 1,089.88 crore for AY 2024-25 under CBDT's campaign. The initiative, launched in November 2024, used data-driven outreach, leading to a 45% increase in disclosures compared to the previous year, with 30,161 taxpayers participating.
