Share of individual investors in MF AUM jumps 8-fold b/w FY2014 to FY2024

While the mutual fund industry has been registering strong growth in terms of the total assets under management (AUM), a recent analysis by Fisdom Research has shown that the share of individual investors in the AUM pie has jumped eight-fold in the last 10 years – between FY14 and FY24.Further, the individual share in total AUM had reached 63 percent by June 2024, compared to 45% previously.
