Samsung considering India smartphone shift as Trump tariff squeezes exports

Samsung is considering shifting smartphone and electronics manufacturing from Vietnam to India to avoid potential US tariffs on Vietnamese exports. The company is in talks with Indian EMS partners and may utilize existing facilities in Uttar Pradesh and Chennai. Samsung is also leveraging India's production-linked incentive scheme, which has provided over Rs 1,000 crore in incentives.
