RBI deputy governor T Rabi Sankar's term extended till May 2026

RBI deputy governor T Rabi Sankar's tenure has been extended for a period of one year, as per an order issued by Government of India's the Department of Personnel & Training. The order stated that the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved his re-appointment for a period of one year with effect from May 3, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
