Rajkot civic body collects property tax worth Rs 365.49 crore in FY24

Rajkot Municipal Corporation (RMC) has collected Rs 365.49 crore as property tax in the financial year 2023-24 which ended on Sunday. The amount is nearly Rs 40 crore more than the property tax collected in the last financial year. This has made the tax income of RMC rise by more than 90% over the last five financial years — from Rs 189.58 crore in 2019-20.
