Overseas travel rules unchanged

The Indian government clarifies no new rule requires all Indians to obtain an Income Tax Clearance Certificate (ITCC) before traveling abroad. The provision applies only in cases involving serious tax dues or investigations, affecting less than 1% of travelers, citing a blanket requirement as "factually incorrect".
