NTPC Q2 results: Net profit rises 20% YoY to Rs 4,649 crore

State-run power generator NTPC Ltd reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 4,649 crore for the second quarter of 2024-25, up 20 percent from Rs 3,884 crore in the year-ago period. Revenue from operations in the September quarter was Rs 40,327 crore, a marginal decline from Rs 40,875 crore reported in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.
