NMDC shares gain after April iron ore output rises 15% YoY

NMDC Ltd reported a 15% year-on-year increase in April 2025 iron ore production at 4.00 million tonnes, with sales rising 2.8% to 3.63 million tonnes. Chhattisgarh output grew to 2.85 million tonnes, while Karnataka contributed 1.15 million tonnes. The state-run miner, India's leading iron ore producer, saw shares rise 0.6% to ₹65.35 on BSE.
