Kotak Mahindra Bank appoints Grant Thornton as external auditor

Kotak Mahindra Bank has appointed Grant Thornton Bharat as its external auditor to address regulatory restrictions imposed by RBI due to IT system deficiencies. The bank has made significant progress in IT systems and has engaged companies like Accenture, Infosys, and Oracle to rectify the issues. Existing customers will not be impacted, while new customers can still be onboarded through branches.
