Just few days before deadline govt amends GST Amnesty Scheme

The government has amended GST Amnesty Scheme rules under Section 128A to address taxpayer issues. Key changes include allowing GST payments via GSTR-3B before November 1, 2024, and enabling taxpayers to split payments for periods covered by the scheme and those outside it. Deadlines are March 31, 2025, for tax demand payments and June 30, 2025, for scheme applications.
