JK Paper announces restructuring; to merge 3 subsidiaries to listed entity

The Union government has set a coal production target of 1,193.39 Million Tonne (MT) for the financial year 2025-26, up 10.5 percent from the FY25 target of producing 1,080 MT of the fossil fuel in India, according to two senior officials in the Ministry of Coal. So far, 96 coal mines have been auctioned for commercial operations by the government.

Gold and silver prices slumped in the national capital on Friday, with gold falling below Rs 80,000-mark to Rs 79,500 per 10 grams and silver diving Rs 4,200 to Rs 92,800 per kg due to heavy selling by jewellers and stockists, according to the All India Sarafa Association. Besides, a weak trend in the international markets weighed down heavily on the bullion prices, traders said.
