Japan's Nikkei rose 1.04% to 36,830.69 on Friday, marking its seventh straight gain, the longest rally in nearly two years. Optimism over U.S.-Japan tariff talks and a weaker yen drove gains. The index rose 2% for the week. Fast Retailing and Yamato Holdings led, with Yamato up 5% on strong profit forecasts.
