Jammu and Kashmir CM unveils multiple smart city projects

J&K CM Omar Abdullah announced plans to develop pilgrim tourism circuits in Jammu to divert 10-15% of the one crore annual Mata Vaishno Devi pilgrims to other regional destinations, boosting the local economy. Infrastructure projects, including ropeway, amusement park, and riverfront development, are underway under the Swadesh Darshan Scheme and State Capex Budget to enhance tourism facilities.
