Jaiprakash Associates must be sold as a unit, not by dividing assets: NCLT

National Company Law Tribunal has ruled that resolution plans for Jaiprakash Associates must be considered as a whole entity, not split into clusters, due to violations of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code. If no bids are received, selling in parts may be considered later. This decision followed a petition challenging the creditors' approach, with the insolvency process ongoing since June 2024.
