HUL shares in focus after acquiring 90.5% stake in Minimalist parent

Hindustan Unilever (HUL) has completed its acquisition of a 90.5% stake in Uprising Science, owner of skincare brand Minimalist, for Rs 2,706.44 crore. The deal combines primary and secondary purchases, with plans to acquire the remaining 9.5% in two years. HUL received CCI clearance in January. Analysts have a 'Buy' consensus with a target price of Rs 2,616.
