Havells, HPL Group settle ₹129.6 crore trademark dispute

Havells India Ltd reached a settlement with HPL Group, resolving a long-standing trademark dispute over 'Havells' name. Havells will pay ₹129.6 crore as a one-time settlement. The agreement resolves pending litigations in various courts, and HPL Group acknowledges Havells' absolute trademark rights since 1971, agreeing to rebrand its entities without the 'Havells' name.
