GIFT Nifty logs record monthly turnover of $100.93 billion in April

GIFT Nifty recorded its highest-ever monthly turnover of $100.93 billion in April 2025, surpassing the previous record of $100.7 billion set in September 2024. Trading volume reached 2.17 million contracts, reflecting strong global interest in Indian equity derivatives through GIFT City. Since its July 2023 launch, cumulative volumes exceeded 41.18 million contracts with a turnover of $1.83 trn.
