Ghaziabad civic body approves property tax hike

The Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation has approved a revised budget of Rs 502 crore for FY 2024-25, increased property tax rates by Rs 4,000-5,000 annually, and introduced a new parking system linked to mobile apps. The tax slab will be based on road width and location, with rates ranging from Rs 3.20/sqft to Rs 4/sqft. Vending fees and an Integrated Parking Management System were also approved.
