General Catalyst-backed fintech Wishfin to merge with bootstrapped firm

Noida-based Wishfin, a digital financial marketplace backed by Franklin Templeton and General Catalyst, has agreed to merge with a Mumbai-based bootstrapped financial services company in a share-swap deal. The merger combines Wishfin's digital platform with the Mumbai firm's loan distribution network.
