Dulux Duel: JSW Paints, Advent-Indigo in race to acquire Akzo India

JSW Paints and Advent-Indigo Paints are competing to acquire Akzo Nobel India, owner of Dulux Paints, as Akzo Nobel NV exits India amid global restructuring. Pidilite Industries is also in the fray but has not bid aggressively. Bids, submitted this week, are at a 10-15% discount to Akzo India’s current market value of Rs 15,565.68 crore.
