Dharana Capital bets $50 mn on Urban Company

Dharana Capital invested ₹400 crore (approximately $50 million) in Urban Company through a secondary transaction, buying shares from employees and other shareholders. This deal brings Vamsi Duvvuri, founder of Dharana Capital, onto Urban Company's board as a non-executive director. Urban Company reported a 45% revenue growth to ₹636.6 crore in FY23, with a net loss of ₹308.4 crore.
