Dhan App Stops 50% Discount For Female Traders

Dhan, a brokerage app, is discontinuing its 50% discount on intraday trading charges for women traders, effective July 8, due to male users misusing female accounts to benefit from lower fees. The app had offered ₹10 instead of ₹20 for intraday trades since March 2022 to encourage women's participation. The decision is also influenced by SEBI's recent circular mandating uniform fees.
