China eases tariffs, improves farm market access

China and the US agreed to expand agricultural trade by reducing tariffs and tackling non-tariff barriers and market access issues. The agreements are preliminary and will be finalized soon. Both sides aim to promote two-way trade, including in agricultural products. A 10% soybean tariff cut is expected, allowing private Chinese buyers to resume purchases.
