CESC sees 20% jump in Q2 net profit, 12% revenue growth

Power utility major CESC Ltd on Friday (October 17) reported a 20.4% year-on-year increase in net profit for the second quarter to ₹425 crore, up from ₹353 crore in the same period last year, and its revenue grew 12% to ₹5,267 crore. EBITDA rose 18.4% to ₹1,061 crore. The company declared an interim dividend of ₹6 per equity share with a record date of October 27, 2025.
