CESC plans ₹5,000 crore renewable push with 3 GW solar plant

CESC Green Power Ltd plans to invest ₹5,000 crore to expand in the renewable energy sector. Key projects include:- a 3 GW solar cell and module plant, a 60 MW renewable energy project, battery manufacturing facilities, allied units supporting the green energy chain. These projects will be implemented nationwide with CESC Ltd providing financial support.
